Terms of service

Last updated: 30 October 2026

Ahlan is in pre-launch testing. It runs on a test environment with test data and does not yet serve the customers of real businesses. This page describes how the service is designed to handle data when it goes live, and says so where a feature is not finished yet.

These terms

These terms apply to businesses and their staff using Ahlan, operated by the company named at the end of this page. If you accept them for a business, you confirm that you have authority to do so. A data processing agreement, accepted separately before a WhatsApp number is connected, covers customer data.

The service

A business connects its own WhatsApp number. An AI assistant answers its customers, helps with bookings and raises flags for staff in a dashboard. The service is in pre-launch testing, so features can change or stop and we make no availability promise.

Limits of the AI assistant

The assistant can make mistakes. It does not give medical, legal or other professional advice and does not make medical decisions. The business is responsible for the information it gives the assistant, including prices and availability, and for checking the conversations it takes over.

Your responsibilities

  • Use only a WhatsApp number you control, and follow WhatsApp's business and messaging policies.
  • As controller of your customers' data, give them the notice the law requires and answer their requests.
  • Keep your accounts secure, use two-factor sign-in and give access only to people who need it.
  • Do not use the service for unlawful content, for marketing messages, or to attack or probe the service or other businesses' data.

Monitoring

Staff access to customer data is logged and monitored, as the security rules for this kind of data require.

Fees

No prices are published. Any fees are agreed with the business in writing and invoiced separately.

Ending the service

Either side may end the use of the service. After termination a business has 30 days to export its data; it is then deleted within 30 days, and copies in backups expire within a further 35 days.

Warranty and liability

During pre-launch testing the service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty and are not liable for indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.

Law and courts

Israeli law applies to these terms, and the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change we update the date at the top of this page and tell business owners about changes that affect them.
